The Playa Serena Golf Club was designed by Angel Gallardo and Peter Allis and opened in 1979, it is a flat course located by the beach just 5 kilometers from Roquetas de Mar. The course has a links feel to it with the winds coming in from the sea making it a different challenge each time you play. |
The greens are the way to a good or bad score because they are small and quite undulating and the majority are protected in some way by water hazards. Palms, pine and acacias trees surround the golf course making this a good test of golf that is easy to walk.

Directions
From the A92 highway head towards Malaga/Motril. Turn off at the "Roquetas de Mar/Parador/Aguadulce" junction. At the roundabout continue straight on towards Roquetas del Mar. When you arrive to Roquetas follow the signs to "Urbanizaciones" and eventually you will find signs directing you to Playa Serena.
