Campoamor Golf, Villamartin, Costa Blanca was designed by Carmelo Gracias Caselles and opened in 1989. The Club House is set high on the hills overlooking the course, mountains and valleys all the way down to the Mar Menor, on a clear day the views are magnificent. |
The course is 6,293 metres long off the white tees and 6,151 metres off the yellow tees and it is a par 72. The fairways are very wide allowing you to take out the driver without too much fear of missing them but a few of the fairways are on slopes so the second shots can be tricky. The fairways are lined with pine trees, cypresses, palm trees and colour is provided by roses and shrubs. The greens are a good size and several of them are elevated and well protected by bunkers.
The course has its own 5* hotel, outdoor swimming pool and sports facilities, it is frequently used by football teams from all over Europe as a training venue.
There are 2 other courses within a five minute drive, Villamartin and Las Ramblas.

Campoamor Golf Club is located just 10 km from Torrevieja, the resort is close to the tourist resorts of Campoamor, Villamartin, Cabo Roig and La Zenia.

Directions
Take the N332 to 9km south of Torrevieja exit at the sign for Club de Golf Campoamor (you will see a “Bricotodo” store at the top of the exit ramp) follow the road to the golf club approx 5km.
