The fairways are wide but they are tree lined in most cases which penalises any wayward drives or shots into the greens. The greens themselves are again quite big so it is important to take note of the pin positions, a pin located at the back of the green can add two clubs to your selection otherwise you will come up short and be left with a 40ft put. What is noticeable is the lack of bunkers compared to most of the courses in the area, but the ones they do have are strategically positioned to protect the greens.

The abundant vegetation is a major feature of the course with over 45,000 native mature trees and 14,000 bushes and plants, there are also two large lakes that complicate matters on a few of the holes. This is well presented and well maintained golf course that every level of golfer should enjoy.
