Villamartin golf course is a par 72 measuring 6,132 metres from the white tees; it was designed by Paul Puttman and opened in 1972. It is one of the most established courses on the Costa Blanca and has hosted several PGA tour competitions. |
The terrain is a mixture of hills and valleys surrounded by mature trees and vegetation, the front nine holes take in the highest point of the course offering some spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea.
The signature hole for the course, the 17th, , must be one of the best par 3s in Spain, it is 220 metres from the elevated back tee and is all carry over a valley to a two tiered green. The green is surrounded by trees and bunkers and the view from the tee is spectacular.

Location
Villamartin Golf is situated close to the popular tourist areas of Cabo Roig, La Zenia and Torrevieja and it is just 20 minutes drive from San Javier (Murcia) airport.

Directions
Take the AP7 and exit at La Zenia, follow the signs for Villamartin. You will pass a Super Value supermarket on your left go straight on at the roundabout. As you reach the top of the hill the road bends to the right slightly, you will see Villamartin Golf Club on your left just after the bend. Park of the road and walk in to the course.
