El Valle Golf Resort - Murcia (Polaris World Nicklaus Golf Trail)

This is third of the Polaris World golf courses in Murcia designed by Jack Nicklaus and a part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail. The course has 18 holes, is par 71 and is a little different from the rest of the Polaris World Nicklaus Golf Trail courses because it is situated in a small valley surrounded by impressive views of the Murcian hills and countryside. |
The course is undulating and has been well designed utilising the natural terrain and incorporating some very well placed hazards. The course includes groups of subtly shaped bunkers that sink into the desert landscape of holes surrounded by natural rocks. Two lakes and cascading brooks add to the difficulty on the back nine including the par 4 14th hole which has a lake down the left, out of bounds down the right and a small brook strategically placed around the green, accuracy is paramount on this hole.
Location
El Valle Golf Resort is situated near Banos y Mendigo, Murcia. It is 20 Minutes from San Javier/Murcia airport and 55 minutes from Alicante airport.

Directions
From either Murcia-San Javier or Alicante Airports, take the AP7 Alicante-Cartagena Motorway and exit at Junction 782 to join the C-3319, Direction Balsicas/Murcia. Continue for about 10km until you see El Valle Golf Resort on the right. Turn off at the sign and following the road down to the main entrance.
