La Serena Golf is situated close to Los Alcázares in Murcia on the coast of the Mar Menor. The course was designed by Manuel Piñero who played in the Ryder Cup team on two occasions. The course is quite flat and not overly long but don´t let that make you think it is easy with the prevailing Levante wind and water hazards that come into play on 16 of the 18 holes, this course will test every level of golfer |

Directions
Directions from Alicante: On leaving Alicante airport follow the signs for Murcia and join the A7. At junction 724 of the A7 join the AP-7 following signs for Cartagena/Torrevieja. Following the AP-7 you will see a sign for San Javier Airport; you will be coming off in 2 more junctions. Come off the AP-7 at junction 786 signed Los Alcazares Centro/ Torre Pacheco. As you come down the slip road go left at the roundabout under the motorway you will come to another roundabout just under the motorway where you take the first exit you will see the sign for La Serena, follow the signs into the golf club.
