La Tercia Golf is a newcomer to Murcia, it is a 9 hole course which is planned to be extended to 18 holes at some time in the future. The course is located on the United Golf Resort on the outskirts of La Tercia close to Sucina in Murcia. |
This golf course was designed by Jose Gancedo who has developed a course around the lakes and ramblas with some difficult approach shots into small greens that are very undulating. The Par 5 5th hole is a great example of this where what off the tee looks like a birdie opportunity can turn into a bogey even if you hit the green in regulation. The par 5 3rd hole is stroke index 3 but in my opinion probably the hardest hole on the course at 535 metres and usually into a stiff wind.This is a new course and although it is only a 9 hole course it is well worth a visit. You will enjoy the driving range where you hit balls into the water on purpose for a change.
Location
La Tercia Golf is situated close to the town of La Tercia, Murcia, Spain. It is 15 Minutes from San Javier/Murcia airport and 60 minutes from Alicante airport.

Directions
From the AP7 motorway take the C-3319 Murcia / Balsicas road, continue for 10km and take the turn off for Roldan. At the roundabout go straight on and at the next mini roundabout turn left. Turn right at the next junction and follow the signs for La Tercia Golf, turn into United Golf Resort and the club house is 100 metres on the right.
