Roda Golf and Beach Resort is situated close to the Mar Menor in Murcia, Spain. The golf course itself was designed by the renowned designer Dave Thomas and he has managed to create something special here. They have selected several different species of grass and planted over 2,000 trees, some of which were brought from countries as far afield as Israel and Argentina. |
There is a mix of shrubs and plants adding beautiful colour to the stunning landscape and then some strategically positioned lakes and streams add to the views but also the golf experience.
The 18 hole, par 72 course´s most attractive feature is its unique waved design, it looks fantastic and can be tricky at times! It is always in great condition the fairways are generous and well-cut and the signature hole has to be the impressive 7th island green par 3 which will test your nerves.
The course has a wonderful modern designed clubhouse with bar and restaurant where you can sit out and enjoy the views across the course while you discuss the best shots of the day.
Roda Golf Course has very first PGA amateur and professional golfing academy outside of the United Kingdom, and offers a wide variety of leisure activities.
The agreement reached with the PGA will mean that more than 7,000 professional players from 55 countries will be able to practise during the winter at Roda Golf and Beach Resort.

Directions
From the motorway AP7, exit at junction 786, Los Alcázares (Norte). You can see the course as the slip road goes back over the AP7. At the first roundabout turn right heading towards Los Alcázares. At the next roundabout take the first right and follow signs to Roda (F27). You will see the course on the right as you go back over the AP7.
