An outstanding golf course studded with palm trees on the sunny Atlantic coast of southern Spain. The course is an intriguing layout on level terrain alongside wide Atlantic beaches. This is a superbly designed course that will challenge players of all levels and one that everyone will enjoy and remember fondly for many years. Costa Bellena is of such great quality that the European PGA Tour has used it as one of the European Tour Qualifying School courses since 2005.
27 Holes / 3 Combinations

The magnificent Costa Ballena Ocean Course has 27 Championship holes, a superb 9 hole Par 3 course and the best practice facility in Europe according to the PGA of Sweden. All these are just some of the characteristics that describe Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club.

The courses were designed by Jose Maria Olazabal and is spread over 100 hectares running alongside the Atlantic coastline. The courses are easy to walk with several holes directly overlooking the coast making it a mixture of links and parkland.

The sugar-white bunkers are strategically placed and there are several water hazards that can create real problems when the wind blows in from the sea.

The three course options will mean that you can stay here and enjoy a different challenge every time you play. The course which is 6063M from the Yellow Tees and 5155M from the Red Tees, is rated Par 72 SSS 72.

Relaxing after the Game – The Clubhouse

The Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Course clubhouse design was inspired by the typical cottages that can be found in the nearby Doñana National Park. The Chantarella Restaurant situated in the clubhouse with its amazing views to the Atlantic Ocean from the terrace is full service restaurant renowned for its authentic Andalucian, Spanish, and international food. The cafeteria and good value snack bar provides breakfast, combined dishes, tapas and sandwiches. Club Amenities: Conference room, Locker rooms, Sauna, Pro-Shop, Gym.

Directions
From Seville Airport (Approx 1.5 hours)
Head towards Cadiz (westbound) on the Ring Road., take Junction 8 the A4/E05 motorway southbound towards Cadiz & Jerez. Continue until you reach Junction 5 (Jerez Sur) and turn right towards Jerez. At the next roundabout turn left onto the CA201 towards El Puerto de Santa Maria. Follow this roadfor 13km then turn left at the roundabout onto the NIV towards Algeciras and Cadiz and then go straight ahead over 2 roundabouts. Turn right onto the A491 (near a Carrefour Hypermarket) towards Rota and Chipiona and continue on this road for 18km towards Chipiona until you enter Costa Ballena. Turn left at the first roundabout in Costa Ballena and follow the signs to the Campo de Golf.

From Jerez Airport (Approx 45 mins)
Exit the Airport and pick up the NIV southbound to Jerez, stay on this road as it passes through a suburb of Jerez following signs for El Puerto de Santa Maria. As you come down the hill past the Sherry warehouses on your right, just before the road goes into an underpass, take the right turn signposted towards Rota and Chipiona. Head away from Jerez on this road (480), the road forks after approx 8km – take the fork towards Rota and Costa Ballena. Continue along this road, past the prison until you reach a T-junction. Turn right towards Costa Ballena, turn left at the first roundabout and follow signs for the campo de golf.
