Cabopino Golf Club - Marbella, Costa Del Sol

Cabopino Golf Club is located just off the coast road between Marbella and Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol. The course opened in 2000 and it was designed by Juan Ligues Crevs, it is a par 71 of 5,170 meters from the yellow tees with some wonderful views of the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. |
It is a fairly short course but still a good challenge of golf with the driver only being needed on a few holes, the second shots into the green are the important ones. The greens hold the ball up well so you can go for the flag with the approach shots. The par 4 third hole is an interesting one, it is only 288 meters but the tee is on the top of the mountain with the way down in the distance, the big hitters can reach but choosing the right club may be difficult. Some of the fairways are a bit tight and there are a lot of blind/dogleg holes but this is a course that everyone seems to enjoy.

Directions
From Malaga drive along the N-340 in the direction of Marbella. Take the exit Cabopino Cambio de Sentido (km 194). Turn right and follow the signs for the golf club.
