Calanova Golf Club is located on the Mijas Golf Costa between Malaga and Marbella, it is a par 72 course measuring 5,866 meters from the white tees. The course opened in 2006 and was designed by D. Julian Garcia-Mayoral from Aymerich Golf Management. Calanova has fantastic views from the majority of the holes either to the La Cala de Mijas Mountains or down to the Mediterranean Sea. |
The fairways are wide and the greens are large with an average size of 500 square meters, they have a lot of contours allowing some very creative pin positions. At the moment there is a 300 square meter temporary Club House to cover all the basic services: including a restaurant with a very nice terrace overlooking the sea and the mountains of Mijas.

Directions
Heading from Fuengirola take the N-340 towards Marbella take the "Cala de Mijas" exit towards the Mijas Golf Valley, after 500m at the roundabout turn 90 left past the Calanova Golf Sales Office and follow the Calanova Golf Club signs.
