Estepona Golf is located just a few miles south of Estepona on the Costa del Sol. The course was designed by José Luis Lopez Martinez and opened in 1989 and it is set at the foot of the Sierra Bermeja Mountains offering some spectacular views of the mountain range and down to the Mediterranean Sea. |
The fairways are quite wide and the excellent greens provide a consistent putting surface. Estepona golf boasts one of the longest golf holes in Spain, the par 5 third hole measures 568 meters and it is called “the ski run”. The signature hole is the short par 4 tenth at just 250 meters from an elevated tee, an easy mid iron from the tee and short iron to the green is the safe way to a par but many will take it on and regret it because the green is almost surrounded by water.

Directions
From Malaga you approach Estepona Golf from the N-340/A7 Coast road. Turn off at Km 153 and head South West on the N-340/A7 Direction towards Algeciras/Cadiz. Turn off at Km 150 and head inland the course is signposted from this point and is approximately 2k from the Coast Road.
