Finca Cortesin Golf Club is located between Marbella and Sotogrande on the Costa Del Sol. The golf course opened in 2007 and it was designed by Cabell Robinson who has used the contours of the valley and natural surroundings to create a truly magnificent championship golf course. With five sets of tees to choose from we recommend that you choose the correct tee for the handicap level of your golfers, the black tees measure a massive 6,802 meters. |
Host to the VOLVO World Match Play the course is always presented in exquisite condition making the most of the 300 varieties of flora and the magnificent views down to the Mediterranean Sea. The whole course is true championship quality but a couple of holes worth a mention are the par 5 3rd which has a wide fairway, two fairway bunkers and unusually for this course no green side bunkers. The green is very well protected by the lake and the slight dogleg approach. The par 3 10th is a beautiful golf hole with an elevated tee looking down to a small guitar shaped green with bunkers, water hazard and normally a wind blowing, the correct club selection is a must if you are going to par this hole.

Directions
From Marbella take the A7 motorway towards Algeciras. take exit A7 Algeciras-Cadiz. The fourth roundabout has an exit to Casares, take this road and after only 2 km you will see Finca Cortesin on your right.
