La Cala Golf Resort Campo Europa - Marbella, Costa Del Sol

Campo Europa was opened in March 2005, it is a par 71 course measuring 6,014 meters from the white tees. The fairways are generous from the tees and the greens are slightly larger than on the other two courses at La Cala. The greens are not severely contoured but they are well bunkered to offer protection. The Ojen river plays a part in eight holes, cutting across three fairways. The 14th is a monster par 3 at 233 metres and the par 5, 11th is the longest hole measuring 524 metres. |
La Cala Golf Resort is located between the Sierra de Mijas Natural Park and the Mediterranean set in the hills above Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol and is only 20 minutes from Marbella and 30 minutes from Malaga Airport. The resort boasts a luxury hotel, the clubhouse, three 18-hole golf courses and a six hole par 3 executive course. The natural features of the La Cala terrain have been used to great effect by the renowned golf course architect, Cabell B. Robinson. The three courses are carefully maintained to ensure they are playable all year round.

Directions
From Malaga take the A7 towards Fuengirola / Mijas, stay on the A7 and after passing the Mijas turn off the road splits, stay on the A7 (Do not take the AP7 Toll Road) . Continue past Fuengirola until you see the sign for La Cala, take the exit signposted La Cala (Km. 201) down to the roundabout and take the right turning.
Keep heading straight and you will reach a second roundabout where you will continue straight ahead until you reach the third roundabout with La Cala Resort sign. Bear left towards La Cala Resort. It is about 5 km to the resort entrance.
