Lauro Golf Club is located close to Alhaurin de la Torre near Malaga on the Costa del Sol. It consists of 3 excellent nine hole courses so anyone playing more than 1 round can have a different challenge. The original 18 holes was designed by Folco Nardi who created a course on which the golfer will have to think carefully about club selection, having said this the course is not overly difficult and even though it is set in the hills it is quite flat and easy to walk. |
The last 9 holes were designed by Mariano Benítez and is a great addition to the golfing experience. The natural habitat and fourteen lakes are home to an array of wildlife including Herons, Ducks, Partridge and even Eagles.
The clubhouse is situated in an old Andalucian "Cortijo" with a welcoming courtyard where players can sit and enjoy a drink or two whilst discussing the days play. For non golfing visitors there is an equestrian centre, swimming pool and "padel" tennis court.

Directions
From the N-340, heading towards Málaga, take the Coín turn-off C-344. Continue in the direction of Alhaurín de la Torre C-366 and at Churriana head towards Cártama A-366, and then to Alhaurín el Grande. Lauro Golf is at km 77.
