Mijas Golf Club is located in the Valley of Mijas just north Fuengirola between Malaga and Marbella on the Costa Del Sol. The golf club has been around since 1976 and it is very well established and well known in the area for its outstanding condition and friendly service. The Golf Club has two golf courses, Los Lagos and Los Olivos.
Los Olivos was designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior and was originally constructed between 1983 and 1984 although it has recently been totally refurbished in 2000/2001. This course lies in a smaller piece of land, and has different characteristics to Los Lagos. The greens are smaller with undulations and well protected by bunkers. Also, it has a large number of olive trees strategically situated around the fairways, which demand a strong and straight drive from the player

Mijas Golf can be found situated in the province of Málaga, at the end of the municipality of Mijas, although geographically it is closer to Fuengirola and for this reason it is possible to avoid travelling through Mijas Village to access the course.
