Miraflores Golf Club near Fuengirola and Marbella on the Costa Del Sol opened in 1990 and was designed by Falco Nardi who has used the contours of the Sierra Mijas hillside to create undulating fairways and elevated greens with stunning views down to the Mediterranean Sea. |
The lakes come into play on four holes, two of these the 5th and 8th holes are from the tee where you will need a good drive to reach the fairway. The par 3 15th hole is only 121 meters long but the water forms a moat all the way around the green so accuracy is a must if you are to make par.
Miraflores has a golf academy with a two storey floodlit driving range and all the practice facilities that you could want. The La Mirage restaurant is well known for its quality and service and it is open 365 days a year.
