San Roque Golf Club, Old Course - Cadiz, Costa Del Sol

San Roque Golf Club, Old Course - Cadiz, Costa Del Sol
The Old course is 6,497 meters from the white tees and was designed by Dave Thomas. The fairways are wide and lined with mature cork trees and the bunkers are enormous and very well placed. The water hazards need a lot of thought before making a shot because they can easily ruin a good card over the last few holes.
The course is set within the old Domecq sherry family’s summer estate and set against the backdrop of the Sierra Bermeja Mountains, this is a golfers dream and no matter what your handicap you will have a day to remember.

The San Roque Club is located on the Southern Costa del Sol just 8 miles from Gibraltar, close to many other famous golf clubs like Valderrama and Sotogrande.   The resort offers all the facilities you’d expect of the finest and most exclusive meeting place on the Costa del Sol. The two contrasting golf courses are as challenging as they are beautiful, the demanding par 72 Old Course was designed by Dave Thomas and winds its way through cork oak forests with superb mountain views and The New Course which was completed in 2003 and created by legendary American course designer Perry Dye. Both courses provide beautiful and challenging holes for players of all handicaps.

The resort has four restaurants from Japanese style to tapas and the equestrian centre’s top class facilities appeal to everyone from novices to experts. There are also tennis and paddle tennis courts. If you are looking for a more relaxing visit try the heated pool or beauty and therapeutic treatments. San Roque Club is a true Golf Resort.
