Bonmont Golf Resort - Tarragona, Costa Dorada
|
The Bonmont Golf Course was designed by Robert Trend Jones Jr. in 1990, this Par 72 course offers what is undoubtedly one of the most challenging and satisfying 18-hole course rounds in the country. Set out over 72 hectares of land and covering a distance of 6.371 metres, the course is dotted with natural and man-made hazards. |
Including six lakes, streams, bridges and woodland, not to mention the 90 or more bunkers that protect its ample, beautifully-manicured greens. Perhaps the most characteristic feature of the course is its wide fairways, with their spectacular views of the Mediterranean and the neighbouring hills. A supremely relaxing landscape surrounded by nature in which the green of the course melts away into the blue of sea and sky.
Strategy is of paramount importance, with each and every hole offering its own particular challenge. Water hazards and bunkers come into play throughout the course, whilst the changes in elevation and the slope of the fairways, both of which call for careful club selection, provide an interesting test of shot-making for players of all levels.
As challenging as it may seem, the course at Bonmont will reward the golfer not just with the satisfaction of a round well played but also with the undeniable sense of peace and relaxation.

Bonmont Golf is located just off the AP7 near Las Planes del Rei, 20 minutes South of Reus.
