Alcanada Golf Course - Alcudia, Mallorca

Alcanada Golf Course - Alcudia, Mallorca
This Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed 18-hole golf course opened in 2003. Situated in the northern part of the mediterranean island of Mallorca, Alcanada is located right by the sea. The 6.499 meter long course blends naturally into the typical mallorcan terrain.
The Alcanada island with its lighthouse, just off the shore, can be seen from most of the holes. Apart from the splendid sea view, the players are surrounded by pine and olive groves. Even though a young course, Alcanada is already recognized by a number of well known golf magazines and golf guides as one of the finest courses in Spain and Europe.

Typical Trent Jones features like 58 well placed green side and fairway bunkers, challenging greens with hidden breaks and difficult but fair tee shots already make this golf course a must for all experienced golfers travelling to Mallorca.

Almost as spectacular as the design of the golf course is the view across the bay of Alcudia. Club de Golf Alcanada is the only course in Mallorca that is right by the sea. The golf course is located in an environmentally important area, and you will find a variety of wild life and rare birds on the course. The restaurant overlooks both the course and Alcudia bay, offers a fantastic range of food, snack and beverages.
Location
Alcanada Golf is located on the eastern coast of the island just on the outskirts of Alcudia.
