The Bendinat Royal Golf Course is magnificently situated 7 kilometres west of Palma, in an extensive wooded valley and in the heart of the Bendinat Housing Estate. In 1995, under the direction of the architect Hawtree, the golf course was enlarged to accommodate 18 holes and a full grid of buggy paths was put in place. |
A driving range was added later and several improvements carried out. Its Club Housefeatures excellent services and facilities which include views to hole 18 and a full schedule of events.
Many of the tees are elevated, and most of the fairways are tree lined and have severe slopes and undulations. The testing greens add to the challenge the Bendinat course offers. The views over the Bay of Palma from the course are spectacular to say the least and the flora and wildlife around the course are a joy to see.

Bendinat Golf is located 7km to the West of the city of Palma, in the municipality of Calvia set in the valley.

Directions
Departing from the Airport, take the motorway in the direction of PALMA
When the motorway ends, you will find yourself going along the seafront of Palma (the "Paseo Maritimo"). Keep going straight. You will drive past the cathedral, the Port, and will emerge at the other end of Palma.
Coming off the Paseo Maritimo, keep going straight, onto the motorway in the direction of Andratx
Come off the motorway at the BENDINAT exit
At the Bendinat roundabout, take the third exit (left)
After about 300metres, you will see a big statue of a number "2" on your left, followed by a road going up the Bendinat hill. This is "Avenida de Mallorca", and will lead you all the way to the Bendinat Golf Course.
